The Capability Gap

Conversations count, and the ability to show up well in the moments that matter can make the difference between conflict and collaboration.

The development of technical knowledge and skills is often achieved at the expense of devoting time to developing their human-centred capabilities – with many people struggling to effectively communicate their thoughts, emotions and opinions in a robust and collaborative manner.

Conducted poorly, or left unresolved, difficult conversations can impede personal growth and well-being, and become missed opportunities to use the situation as a platform for building relationship and achieving outcomes.
