Leading in a Globally Dispersed World

Develop inclusive leadership practices to build collaborative hybrid, remote and global teams

Developing Leaders
Case Studies

The Capability Gap

Physical disconnection, lack of visibility and technology overload can create a barrier to communication and trust. In no time at all, teams can become disengaged and isolated.

There is no established best practice around our new ways of working (yet), so leaders of dispersed teams must invest conscious time and effort in exploring how they lead, motivate and communicate with their teams.

Critically, they must develop new skills to  ‘reconnect’ their teams so they can harness valuable diverse perspectives and lead inclusive, high-performing teams operating in any environment.

Learning Outcomes

  • Create a psychologically safe environment where diverse team members actively engage

  • Use emotional intelligence to ‘tune in’ to the team’s context

  • Learn practical tools to effectively run hybrid meetings

  • Conduct effective ‘hybrid working’ conversations, addressing shifting expectations

Unforgettable Learning Experiences

Coaching Avatars

A different perspective
Vignettes are character-based stories to recreate familiar work situations. Participants coach the character approach from new perspective, stimulating new thinking and solutions.

Participants can see the impact of the behavioural choices they make in action and develop a deeper understanding of how to approach specific contexts with greater confidence.

In Their Shoes

See things differently
Participants answer questions about their experience of hybrid working – from the perspective of a peer.

This allows participants to gain an impactful new perspective on different ways of working. Participants then make specific requests and offers of support to each other.

Participants walk away with a greater appreciation of hybrid working and behaviours and actions which can support greater collaboration and inclusion.

Forum Theatre

Build confidence in new skills
The epitome of how we help people to defy expectations. Forum Theatre is a highly immersive platform to try new skills and behaviours in a safe, supportive environment.

With real-time, constructive input from peers, we create realistic scenarios which help participants grow in stature and confidence.

Participants emerge from this session ready to create lasting change, with a renewed appreciation of the positive difference they can make.
